Physical contact on a first date?

Hey, today I'm (18) having my first date with one amazing girl (also 18). I asked her out on a drink and she said yes. I'm already also her prom date (she asked me to be her prom partner) so we have some physical contact already, so that tells me we both should be comfortable touching eachother. The problem is I don't know if it's good to hug her at the start of a date when we meet or just smile and say hi. Or to just hug her at the end of a date when we say goodbye? I'm nervous because of this because I want to respect her boundaries and don't wanna ruin anything. Also if anyone has some other advice for my first date I would really appreciate that.

Hug her when you meet and when you’re saying goodbye. During the date you can put your hand on her shoulder for a short while if you’re joking or flirting or put your hand on her back to ”escort” her if you want her to pass and go in front of you somewhere, like first through the door or whatever.

I think a hug is fine. Nothing more than that bc it might make her uncomfortable

I think a hug would be nice before and after the date.
