Is being lonely good is it ok?

Im mostly by myself most of the time i dont really mind it. I get slightly annoyed when friends ask me to come over or whatever if it's too often. Feel like an asshole but thats just me I dont really like being around too many people all the time.

But social interaction is very important. Everyone needs varying levels of it. I doubt someone can go entirely without it.

There is a difference between being alone and being lonely. Being alone is okay if you are comfortable with it but being lonely is a painful experience that you should try and do something about.
