Guy was flirty with me when I invited him to a sports game. At the game, a week later, I kept initiating conversation with him. He wasn't flirty with me anymore during the game. I invited him to dinner with friends after, he came and I initiated conversation with him again, he talked a lot about himself but rarely asked questions about me. After dinner, I waved goodbye and smiled at him. He saw, but instead waved at everyone else and did not smile back. Why did he lose interest between the first time we flirted to the next time we hungout?

You give the appearance of talking a lot. That's not uncommon for young women, who live in fear that 2 minutes of silence means that the guy has lost interest and plans to leave you. Men tend to limit our conversation to specifics rather than just mindless chatting. If we don't have anything to say, we don't say anything.

Not disinterested, but it was his not so subtle way of telling you that he didn't enjoy himself. Fall back, regroup and approach him again, only this time with less concern about initiating conversation. Of course there's something of interest to say, by all means do so. Otherwise, letting him know that your cat (for example), coughed up a hairball that morning isn't interesting to most guys.
