Does it mean anything if a girl texts "uhmm" a bunch before texts?

The girl I like has been texting me back, but when she does she puts "uhmm" before texting me sometimes. It's really random too. Does it mean anything?

it means she thought about the answer. not that she's uninterested. not that she's heisitant. maybe she doesn't want to seem over-eager? idk...i use "umm" occasionally. I don't really have a reason behind it

hmm, sounds like she's not too into it/grateful to have you. If that's the case, she shouldn't be leading you on by excepting your favors. From now on no more favors, wait until she asks YOU. Let her know you like her, and let her decide what she wants after that. You can't win her over with favors and she can't keep using you. Of course I don't know enough about the situation, this is just a guess!
