I have feelings for an older guy at work and don’t know what to do - does it seem like he likes me?

Please don’t judge - just looking for some advice on how to proceed.

I’ve started to have feelings for a man I work with. I’m nearly 30 and he is 50.

I have worked with him for 5 years now and when I first started my job he was my manager but he’s not anymore as I’m in a different department now. I still see and speak to him every day though.

We get on so well. I’ve never got on with someone as well as I do with him before. We have a lot in common and he is so kind, charming and funny. We are both single.

I never had any ‘feelings’ for him before and this started only a few months ago and now he’s literally all I think about.

He started making comments about my appearance and giving me compliments now and again. To begin with I didn’t think anything of it but then he started to say more obvious flirty things but not that often so I didn’t really know how to take it.

He added me on all my social media. He always replies/watches my stories etc. He texts me when we are off on holiday at work asking what I’m upto etc.
At work we always have a lot of eye contact, he’s touchy feely, always holds doors open and gives up his seat for me in meetings and I don’t know if I’m being really stupid here and I don’t know what to do. He once told me that he thought I was sexy and he got really embarrassed and walked away. So it got a bit awkward between us and now I’m freaking out.

Since then I’ve started to get quite nervous around him because I don’t want to cross a line here but all I think about is how much I want him ripping my clothes off.

What should I do? Keep talking to him? Flirt back? Or avoid?
