My boyfriend has always been a spotty texter from the beginning, I thought I was okay with it but now he's taking over 24 hours to reply to texts, he's on a 4 day weekend and has barely talked to me. Like I get that not everyone is glued to a phone but over 24 hours?
Yesterday he texted me 28 hours later from the previous day saying he was sorry and that it was his mom's B-Day. I said that's ok and he replied then didn't respond until just now literally as I'm typing this like 25 hours later. When he responds he doesn't pay attention to what I said or asked either. He'll ask the same question after I answered because he wasn't paying attention to the answer or took so long to reply he forgot he already asked. One day I asked him if we we're still gonna hang out and he replied like 10 hours later.
This happened last week and he apologized, I didn't bring it up so I figured maybe he could see I was hurt when we went on a date. He said he'd try to communicate more and said he should be more diligent about replying. It hasn't really changed 😕 I'm not sending him a million texts either, I didn't want to bomb him.
When we're together we're all over eachother and having fun. His mixed signals are frustrating me.
Just now he said he got called into work and we'd talk later, I think he's gonna break up with me. I feel it in my gut.
Or maybe he just REALLY sucks at communicating, which is a red flag for me personally.
