Guy moved in to new apartment and asked to see me not until next week. Why so far out and not this weekend?

This guy and I have known each other for a year but he moved away for a few months. He recently moved back to his family’s house and asked me if we could wait to see each other again until he found his own place. So, first of the month (last Friday) he moved in to his new apartment. He didn’t text me until a few days ago and told me he moved and then suggested next week we see each other. He didn’t suggest this weekend.. he has been moved in for a week now.. do you think he has other females coming over or another date lined up this weekend.. because like why not see me this weekend? I don’t want to ask him to be pesty but I’m just wondering if I’m being paranoid or? He’s 30 and doesn’t work a job right now but he runs his own and has clients so I know he’s busy but.. it just makes me feel like he’s stringing me along

That doesn’t sound unreasonable of him. You said he’s been moved in for a WEEK now. I would want more time to settle in as well before inviting people around so it’s logical that he invited for next weekend

I'm sure he's extremely busy. Moving is kind of a big ordeal. There are a lot of loose ends to tie up. He may also be tired and needs to rest.

Maybe he just needed to get settled into the home. Moving is a lot of work and can be a difficult time for people. It’s exhausting and can cause stress.
