My boyfriend hasn't asked me to hang out in two weeks?

Girls, I need some help. The case is that my boyfriend hasn't asked me to go out with him for almost 2 weeks. He calls me now and again, but he doesn't mention anything about hanging out. The last time we went out together we talked about some things in our relationship, he said he understands and that would try to change some habits. Then we went together on a place I am deeply connected to and I started crying, so he hugged me and said: 'I'll be always there for you. I feel your pain right now'. After that, we were talking a lot about the life and everything was fine. After this, I saw that he changed his habits and he even called me few times, but he didn't ask me to hang out. We're still texting and I'm a little frustrated every time I see that the message isn't about hanging out. I am feeling confused, can please somebody not involved in this situation tell me what should I do. Thank you again

Yes, we cover different topics, we talk about travelling somewhere together and we even give compliments to each other, but it's just uhh, complicated situation.
