What does it mean if a guy stares at you for like 10 seconds straight without smiling?

My cousin's boyfriend has stared at me for like 10 seconds straight without smiling and I think he did it with the intention of me knowing and with the intention of doing it on purpose. My cousin and I dont really get a long. She hates me and always has since we were little. it has been like a long competitive relationship with her but I've never done anything to her. Anyways her boyfriend is really good friends with my dads side of family. His family and my family have always been good friends. We dont talk much but he has been nice to me on a few ocasions. He has even smiled at me with her knowing and it seems like he has been friendly overall. However I dont like her. She seems rude and it seems to me that when she's with him or his family she acts like a completely different person. Anyways I have so much resentment towards her for putting me thorugh so much when we were little and I wanted her boyfriend to know. So i went on social media and I posted a lot of shady things about her and her boyfriend. I think he knew it was about it because the next day he unfollowed me. Anyways after that specific incident I would see him around family parties and it would look that he was still nice to me a little because i gave a speech once during a family holiday celebration and he was smiling. However about a month later i see him at his family wedding and i just see him stare at me cold. Like a long cold hard stare for like 10 seconds. However Im wondering what does it mean? Does he like me or does he hate me or what?

For someone to stare at you it means a few things:
1. He likes you and showing it sincerely
2. He's waiting to see your facial reaction like a smile or something
3. He's communicating that he's mad at you

More than likely he probably likes you. Men are a little more direct with approaches. I have a girl I work with that i like and when she stares at me I stare back to lock eyes. I don't smile (wearing a mask anyway) but its like a sign of attraction showing i want her. Maybe she thinks the same, I don't know she has a boyfriend lmao.
