Guy friend has a body count over 40 but when we talk, he is mostly shy. I always have to be the one to initiate in-person conversation. He only initiates when he texts. He usually doesn't say much when I talk to him in person, he mostly opens up to guys.

I was pretty shy in my early years, I had the intentions but didn't have the skills or confidence to go through with them.

I had the baby face so women have done the sexual initiation for me and that's what made me grow in my confidence.
