Categorizing people is difficult and not fully accurate because overlaps exist etc. but there is truth about it.
It's a bit more than difficult, it's dang near impossible. Example. If you had been around me back when I was cheated on and basically dumped you would have thought I was a beta male. I suffered through many weeks mostly alone. Today I spend some time mentoring some guys that have been betrayed and told to suck it up and deal with it. I have actually walked two guys down from self-deleting themselves. Yes, I also see some guys cheating on their wives. They know I mind my own business but they know by my expression I don't approve. I live in a military community. I consider myself to be an alpha male. The lady sitting beside me right now is laughing at me because she can see a paradox. Why would an Alpha male be on this website making comments? To be honest I work from home and am semi-retired. I am 63 and this lady sitting beside me is a lady that is 34 and works as a reporter at a local TV station. I am far from that 20something I was back in the 80s. In fact, if I could go back I would kick myself in the butt and tell myself to stop worrying about something I can no longer control. She is laughing at me now saying I am trolling! I have to admit I am. I'm too old to play games. Yes, I'm an Alpha! Next weekend there is a great chance I will spend time with a 38-year-old American Airlines Flight Attendant! Life is good! People really need to stop classifying people and get on with life.
