This should be more of a reason to just lie about your virginity if it’s that big of a deal. Just say you’re a virgin no matter what, even if you have children.
Probably because they think that since women can normally access sex more easily than the average guy can, then it's more shocking for a woman to be a virgin past a certain age

I was victim of this, when I was 17 the the first guy who ever made me feel lovable even though I'm trans was a 26 year old man who claimed to be non-binary so I would trust him more and when I turned 18 I left home to be with him. It was a horrible relationship and from where he was the first guy I was ever with I didn't always know what was normal and what wasn't. I'm still nervous about telling a man no when he asks for sex.
