Why do some girls want virgin guys?

I actually got rejected by a virgin girl. She’s 23 and a virgin. We go to the same university. We became friends but I liked her from the beginning.
Then after a few months, I confessed I liked her and wanted to be in a relationship. She shut me down quick and said she only thinks of me as a friend because she only wants to be with a virgin guy.
I had sex with only 2 girls before. Not that much but it bothers her.

I thought girls hate virgin guys. What’s up with this?

She’s smart actually. She’s asking for something she can give herself. You can’t really complain if she wants someone who’s a virgin like her. At least she’s not hypocritical like these guys who want a virgin when they slept with the entire world. I know women are usually more ‘forgiveful’ on a guy’s past, but honestly, a guy who had sex before is less willing to wait for a girl until marriage. When I was younger, I wanted a virgin too. Then, I met this guy I fell for and he was definitely not a virgin and I chose to still date him until he broke up with me because I wanted to wait before having sex with him 😂 Now, I’d rather prefer to be with a virgin even though I know they are rare lol Anyways, respect her decision and go find other girls who don’t care about your body count

I'm on the same road as her. I HIGHLY prefer a guy who is a virgin. I prefer to be his first & him to mine. A guy who has had sex with two girls has shown me an insight of who he may be. His values? His strong moral integrity? Like Nina said, yes she has her standards.
