Unfortunately many women do have a problem with it and they will make it a big problem for you because they can.
Like I keep saying, women make the social rules men follow. When the rules become unclear and contradictory, the ONLY option left to men is to avoid the situation entirely.
Opening the door is a discrimination of men. This is to put men in the role of servants. I hate this.
I open doors for other men and for old and ugly women. I do not do shit for attractive and young females... they are already entitled and spoiled enough.

I would certainly hold the door for my daughter, or my wife. But not for most women. I have gotten far too many dirty looks from women for holding doors open for them.

I open the door for my girlfriend and women I know that are not feminists. I don't for random women generally because most of them are feminist.
I mean it’s not so much feminism. You have to DESERVE special treatment. It’s more men have realised not to treat women better than them self. most women these days suck, like men do. They can open their own doors seen as they want independence.
