Why he feels that his fiance had said something negative about him to me? It's weird and shocking?

I have a friend , someone told me negative things about him to me, so I wanted to check with my friend, i asked my friend saying i have heard some negative comments about you. He was like who told you is it my fiance, I was shocked i mean why will his fiance say something negative about him to me, I am still wondering,

No actually someone else told negative things about him , but he was doubting his fiance

Oh so it was prob not the fiance and who know honestly. Maybe there is some jealousy. But only you know what type of person he is. The person saying that might be a gossiper and we can't believe everything they say that's tricky though there's not enough details

Maybe it's the person he spends most of his time with. I mean a marriage is such a huge decision and I'm sure little doubts come. I couldn't tell you more I am not sure why he doubted her
