i would say thats a bad sign to be honest, like if that was me i would feel like the relationship is shit. its different if it goes both ways and ur both quiet with eachother then that means ur not compatible but if its just one of u then thats a bit odd
Maybe he doesn’t feel the need to say much around you. Maybe being talkative is his way of not being entirely comfortable. Sometimes around certain people even though I have social anxiety and I’m introverted, I feel the need to blurt out things I wouldn’t necessarily say as a way of feeling like I fit in. Sometimes less is more. I personally can’t stand the people that naturally say meaningless words
Maybe he’s just loud when in public with many people but when it’s just the two of you he doesn’t feel the need to be
