This guy who I have been seeing for nearly 2 years now likes listening to me talk but does not talk or share anything. We have been communicating non- verbally most of the time. When we met he would steal looks from me or stand and stare at me from far away. When I approached him and talked to him he grew very very very shy. Can anyone help? his friends and his parents already know about our relationship, like I do the hard work, he goes with the flow. Anyone can explain? Is this normal or am I emotionally too needy?

No i communicate verbally. On his side, it is Always non-verbal... any idea why?

Yes... his parents and his friends knows (He told his friends).

I think that’s just the way he is.
I guess if you like him for who he is then this comes together with it

Yes I love him a lot... it's just that sometimes I wish there were more conversations but on the other hand even if does not speak most of the time, I can understand he very well, at first it baffled him!

It's just how he is. Tell him you would like him to talk more with you it won't hurt. If it bothers you a lot it may be a incompatibility.
