There's definitely been times in my life when a woman showed by her actions 1000% that she wanted one thing, while saying "no" which went against what she was doing. Eons of male biology tells a guy to look at her actions. No, I'm not saying the guy should ignore what you say, just that it's like you shove a fresh cooked steak in a random dog's face while saying, "don't eat it"... good luck with that. But women often claim that 100% of men must have self-control but women don't have to have it because anything bad that happens is a man's fault. It's foolishness to think that way. It won't save her from getting harmed by the guys who lack self-control. A lot of guys, myself included, have told women on GAG (when they asked), if you don't want a guy's attention then be cold completely. Don't try and play nice and friendly. It's sending mixed signals.
My advice to guys is to not even deal with 99.99% of women at all these days. It's not worth the risk that if he even politely flirts with her, that can be used as "evidence" that he's a sexual predator later on when some other woman decides to railroad him on false rape charges - and yeah, that does happen to guys. But women don't want guys telling other guys to ignore women either.

A very simple concept that it seems like many people, seems to be mostly men on this site from previous posts, fail to understand.
My thought is that if they keep pushing, they will get what they want.
To me that comes from their upbringing, parents never denying them anything, not telling them no, no one keeps score, everyone wins, not being held accountable for their actions.

And now they have grown up and don't have a clue.

I think dudes, really think they need to tell us what to do, because they think we can't do things without their help.
I never ask for help on this site. All my questions are about seeing how people think or act, but they always assume I'm asking them to solve some problem.

I'm afraid it's probably not a question of understanding. I can't imagine any guy misunderstanding the meaning of the word "No" esp. in that context. They don't take the "no" because they choose not to. Despite th fact that it would trhen constitute rape, they will often fall back on cliches like. "I didn't think she really meant it" or" She was fine with it and then decided to change her mind". I'm not condoning either response. The fact of the matter is they have gotten away with it in the past nd feel like they can do it again despite the fact that they are violating both your request and the law. Pressing a rape charge can be very traumatizing and attorneys have been known to try to doscredit defendants by bringing up past behavior, blaming it on alcohol or drugs. I don't know if hat pins still exist but if you have told him no and he persists, you have the right to defend yourself and the most sensitive parts of his anatomy are often within easy reach
Great question, I've had guys who accept it but others who act like I don't really mean it, even when I really mean it. I'm fairly assertive so I ask for what I want and don't try to play games.

I think because there are different women out there, where sometimes she says no, but really wants him to keep pursuing her (playing hard to get). Sadly, guys know that they can sometimes pressure a girl into saying yes, and some guys will try to do that. So I think between those two things, when she actually means no, guys really don't know if she actually means that. And of course it depends on the guy also. If I get a no, that's it, end of story.

This reminds me of a bit by Daniel Tosh. Because sometimes 50 no's and a restraining order actually means yes. "If no meant no guy would ever get laid. No doesn't mean no. No means work on the neck, the nipples and try back in 5 minutes".
Most of them are just desperate or arrogant. I hate the type of guy who thinks he's the greatest and can't imagine why I would say no and therefore just pretends that I didn't 🤦♀️

Many guys don’t understand or were never taught what ‘consent’ means or is unfortunately. Something that really needscto change in our country/world
i dont know but if a girl ever says no to me i will jus give up on her and leave her life, whats the point of trying with a girl who isn't even attracted to you? big waste of time
