Have you ever used a bottle of Windex or 409? You know how they have a nozzle on the front that can be rotated to change the spray pattern?

The way a penis works, 85% of the time, you get a straight stream - but maybe 15% of the time, you randomly get something else. Sometimes it's a straight stream - but one that points in a random direction, with a varying amount of deflection. Sometimes it's a spray. Sometimes it's a split stream. And it's even worse if you had sex (or masturbated) and some left-over cum dried on the tip, which kind of "glues" the hole partially closed. It's a lot like what happens when you put your thumb over the end of a hose.

This effect is illustrated perfectly in the movie Me, Myself, and Irene. Jim Carrey's do-gooder character has an "evil alter ego", and while his evil alter ego has taken things over, he has sex with Irene (Rene Zelwigger). There's not a guy alive who hasn't stumbled into the bathroom, desperate to pee and half-awake, and had this happen.

Well I think it has to do with the force of the steam and gravity. I mean if the aim and angle is not just right it splatters water, which gets on the bottom side of the toilet seat.

If we put up the toilet seat it gets super easy to forget to put it down, and then the women complains about that to.

I always peed standing up, but after my first to years of marriage and her constant complaints I learned to pee sitting down... things improved for me in this area after that.

Ok, first understand that it’s not something we do on purpose. It depends on a number of factors. You wake up w a hard on then try to piss different aim there as opposed to just having had sex then trying to urinate. Something’s you may be half awake. Some of us like me aren’t circumcised so I think that plays a factor as well. The stream may not be as forceful.

Poor aim, usually caused by being tired, intoxication, or being in a hurry. It can also have to do with low pressure when urinating or blockage causing spray instead of a solid stream.

Like a water hose, it splashes and sprays, regardless of how well we try to aim. And sometimes it's not noticeable until later even, or he simply didn't notice. It's not a perfect straight stream.
