Why would he only text and never call?

I met a guy online and we kinda hit it off. We've been talking for over 3 months and we only text. We don't talk dirty so I know he isn't a creep and hopefully not a scammer cause I've seen his resume and we discuss his work at times. I know what we have is very casual but I believe a phone call is more effective way of communication than a text. He never brings it up and brushes it off when I try to suggest if we should call. I'm thinking of ending this cause , I feel he's not too interested and I'm not satisfied with text based conversations. Any suggestions?

I know! But he's funny and I have a good time talking to him. But lately I'm getting attached so.. I guess I should end it.

I don't think he's either nervous or shy that's something I'm certain about. Rather I'm shy to bring it up again after being tossed earlier.

Have you seen his pictures? How can you be sure it's him? I would suggest you to ask for some kind of verification picture (where he will be holding a note or piece of paper with his name or something) or a video to make sure you're not being catfished. If he refuses all of these, as well as talking on the phone, that's pretty susp

Yep, we did facetime once and he's hot. So the dilly dallying. Else I might have forgotten him easily ( yes I know, I'm a shallow and superficial human)

Maybe he is nervous to call?
Maybe you could send voice messages instead of calling. They have those features on some social medias and on your mobile number.
