Whats he thinking?

We used to talk day and night like we were together, but now we don't talk that much and I like him a lot? What should I do? He did propose me before but I didn't think it was serious. I can say that he kinda proposed in a playful or like a "not serious" Manner so I thought he was just joking.
Even now when don't talk that much, he tries to do things to get my attention and I don't know what to think of this as. He says we're friends but he never acts like friends when he's around me. He acts like he's my boyfriend. What's he even thinking? I'm really confused.

I told him I liked him but he didn't say anything and actually I was really shy to say that be he kinda pushed me to tell him what I felt

Hmmm, the only thing I can think of is that he isn't sure if you like him. He felt like he pried it out of you so it wasn't how you really felt.

You need to talk to him and say that you dont appreciate him playing with your emotions. He needs to either ask you out or just be a friend. can't keep letting him string you along and if he can't handle that then he's not mature enough for a relationship, either way you get a resolution.
