I am seeing a guy long distance and he continues to tell me he wants us to be together in a serious relationship etc but when it comes down to it he will not dare me. He says it’s coming just not yet… we are “exclusive” because he wanted to be but he will not actually commit to dating me. Also when it comes to visiting he deflects planning anything and says it’s too soon… if he won’t commit and didn’t want me to visit why does he keep saying he wants a serious relationship?

We are from the same hometown and when he was home this past weekend I met all of his family - I’m the first girl he’s ever taken home. He was upset I didn’t invite him to meet my family but I’m not doing that until we are actually together.. but I guess he is probably seeing someone else where he lives.

We FaceTime every night before bed and he says there is no one else but I guess like the other guy said there is probably someone else

And I've never heard of being exclusive, but not dating? That doesn't make any sense, and you should have questioned that. He doesn't want you to visit? Could it be any more obvious what he is doing?
