Why do women and men put little emphasis on planning when having kids?

I usually find is educated and professionals that they usually get married and education complete have a career, buy a house or cottage then have kids. Yet it would seem that 60 % of couples don't even remotely think in this way. Rather men and women have kids with people who they should not be having kids with and then wonder, well this man can't support a family because he works at Walmart making minimum wage and the girl is a drop out. Yet people have this idea that emotions will pay the bills at the end of the month when in reality no they do not. Getting evicted, no food, no stability, arguing and poverty. I often wonder what happened to common sense when having kids.

Well common sense or not the people who have the most kids are the winners of natural selection and evolution. The educated professionals who wait for the right circumstances that you’re talking about are usually the ones who have fewer kids as well, if any at all. Maybe they have 1-2 kids in their late 30s/early 40s. Then we have the people who don’t give many f’s and just have kids whenever it happens or they feel like it. If they end up with 6 kids they are likely the evolutionary winners no matter how many baby mommas/daddys, no matter if they’re in social housing or on food stamps and so on. If the ”plan ahead”-couple’s kids follow in their parents footsteps (which they often do) then this couple can expect 0-4 grandchildren from their two kids. If the kids of the dude/gal with 6 kids by 4 women/men follow in the same footsteps (which they often do) then 35+ grandkids would be a real possibility and it goes on like this for generations so there are going to be a lot more of the irresponsible type in the world because they have the most kids. Yeah, greatly explained and illustrated in the movie idiocracy.

There was a time when natural selection was alive and well where the strongest and smartest survived yet now day's you can live your whole life on the scrapes of society and populate the earth with how many women who are in the same place as you. We give these poor people all the requirements to live and more yet it's up to us productive members of society to shoulder the added costs of raising there dysfunctional or mentally ill children. Procreation should be a god damn Privilege and not a human right.

I know I certainly do. My fiancé and I have a pretty well thought out plan as to when we want to start trying. Of course, wedding first, but there are things we laid out ahead to make sure we are prepared when the time comes.

We are financially stable if I leave my job in the beginning. We sorted through bills and other considerations like the extra costs, future daycare, etc.

Those that don't plan are the ones that get in trouble real quick.

I just wonder who taught you these values? My parents told me how I should stick to a game plan, pick the right girl and make a game plan together.
