This shows that they care about you. I think it's a great sign. I don't want to make any promises, but it sounds like they really love you. Most people don't care enough to comfort others, and this person is doing that. They are also take care of things for you/do you favours. That's a great sign. It's rare that people give themselves more work to do just to help others.
