While I think that is technically true, I also think it really only applies to the extreme cases. Just as most women don't want a guy who is SO nice that he's a pushover, most guys don't want a woman who is completely helpless and spineless or who absolutely falls apart the second something doesn't go her way (and, yes, women like that do exist). We generally don't want women who are THAT fragile - that's the part that's true.

At the same time, most men don't want women who are so tough that they'll intimidate a Marine Drill Sergeant either. That's WAY too far to the other extreme.

This is why men like to use a "1 to 10" scale for things. Yes, it's overly simplified, but it communicates things quickly and simply, so I'll do that here.

Let's say you have a scale from 1 to 10. 10 being a Marine Drill Instructor, and 1 being so sweet - and so helpless and fragile - that you get a toothache just being in the same room with her. Most men would prefer a woman who is in the 3-6 range, meaning that, on average, she's not right smack in the middle, but rather leans a bit towards the sweet side, but never gets to the extreme.

It is like seeing your SOs face 24 hours a day. You cannot do that. A thing called personal space is there. That is why, doing a job or anything is important so that both of them do not see each other for the day and then are able to appreciate at the end of the day, with a nice dinner or something.

My answer to that cannot be A or B, because 'overly sweet' and 'tough' are extremes. What's wrong with a regular woman who sometimes agrees and sometimes doesn't?

i heavily disagree on that one. i've seen a TON of men saying how they dislike masculine women, very few saying that they'd want this. they prefer someone delicate for the most part from what i've seen; someone who they can protect. and i've also noticed that a lot of "waifus" in anime are girls such as rem from re:zero or something like that, basically the "sweet" girls (for the most part).
