What's this guys deal?

a few months ago, I started sleeping with a friend. Or to be more accurate, my ex boyfriends very good friend. We've said from the start that it'll be friends with benefits. However, I can't work out whether he's developed feelings for me. A few weeks ago I went over to his to hang and he asked if I wanted to take a bath with him. He ran a bubble bath with candles and played jazz music. Then we had sex and watched a movie, cuddled all night. The next time, I we organised a hookup but at the last minute, he asked if I wanted to go to the cinema. He came and picked me up, we got food and went to the cinema, he paid for everything, then we went to his. i spent the night both times even though he's said that he doesn't like sharing his bed. Now, he's been sort of off with me. Can't work out whether he's developed feelings or just ended the friends with benefits already. I'm happy with friends with benefits by the way, just looking for a male perspective on this guys headspace.
