Do easy going guys secretly have high standards?

There was a guy from work who might have been interested cause he would text me twice a day before and after work but the thing about him was that he was super strict with me at work and I wanted a guy who wasn’t so dogmatic and opinionated, like if I’m tired, I don’t want to get yelled at for not wiping the dishes perfectly before they go on the rack. I wanted a guy who was less conditional and argumentative but I thought, what if the guy I like expects extreme perfection because he’s so nice that he becomes popular with woman?

Get to know the outside of work person if you are interested in figuring out what he is really about.

Religion is very condition, as far as how one is supposed to act or expect from other gid fearing people. Love is conditional and transactional. Its all about what other person does for you, and you do for them. Love is not forever, unless you put forth the effort to maintain it. So I doubt this guy is all that, and people who are soooooo nice usually are disingenuous to me. Like try so hard to be nice, they snap in private from effort it takes to be fake.

A guy like that isn't easy going lol. But like some women, some people are controlling and/or have to have things "perfect". This is a possible red flag when dating, as this could be an issue in the relationship down the road, depending how severe it is with them. It's an even bigger red flag if they get really upset over it (angry).

I agree with you about not liking the guy from work. Most nice guys I know really are nice but I can think of one or two who are fake.
