I don’t like the way my partner dresses, how can I help his style?

I really don’t like the way my partner dresses sometimes, he doesn’t have the best style.
we’ve dated for over a year and he looks nice when he wears nice shirts and jeans but sometimes he wears ugly shorts and old sneakers.
He doesn’t spend on clothes at all so most of his clothes are old, I bought him some for his bday etc and he finally got some new shoes but it’s a bit embarrassing really when we go out, he will wear old jumpers etc and I make an effort but it’s like he doesn’t care and admits he doesn’t have style... how can I help him? Or I can’t?

All you can do is take him shopping and offer suggestions, or start buying him clothes you like the most.

Just make sure you keep the receipts, lol.

You can't force change. Just try telling him how good he looks when he wears nice cloths.
