My boyfriend doesn't like when I dress up and look hot?

I like to wear short skirts with cute heels when I go out. Nothing slutty, just cute outfits. My boyfriend used to love the stuff I would wear BEFORE he was boyfriend, when we were just casually dating. But now when I dress up, he makes comments like "why are you getting all dressed up?" Or "why are you wearing that, you should just wear jeans." I don't get it...the reason I get all dolled up is for HIM! He used to like it, but now it irritates him. Why do you think that is? What could have changed? I've asked him, and he won't tell me. And again, I don't wear anything that's slutty. I don't go out looking like a stripper or anything like that.

Before you were going out and were dressing up, you were doing it to look "presentable" to people (attractive guys), and now that you're boyfriend and g/f, he doesn't want you to still dress like you're "dressed to impress".

If I had a girl I would love for her dressing up and looking sexy. I mean, as long as your dressed sexy in a classy way it's all good. But maybe he feels you get a lot of attention from dudes and he probably gets a little jealous of guys making comments.

That's his problem of having insecurities, even if guys do check you out or hit on u, he should trust you enough to not flirt back with the guys

pretty simple put it's one of the following

1he doesn't want other guys hitting on you, or even looking at you and having thoughts like that flash though their heads even if it's only momentarily

2 he's insecure and worried about losing you to another guy(though I seriously doubt this option but still it is a possibly

3 it's a matter of control

though there is only one way to know for sure and that is to talk to him directly and ask him why he now doesn't like it

if you are going out without him I understand his worry more but if you are going out with him that's annoying/kind of controlling

There is only one reason for this, he may even know you do that for yourself but he doesn't want other guys to look at you and want you, that would feel bad for every guy seriously.

@dubstep That makes no sense. If you fall in love with a guy, that is exactly why you would want to dress up more. You are crazy about him! You are in love with and want to be your best and keep the spark alive. Why would any man want to date an ugly woman? It seems he would want her to be exciting and stimulating. It makes no sense to dress nice when he fell in love and not want to keep dressing nice for him. .
