I got back together with my ex (for now) and just now I noticed, he doesn't has much MALE friends?

Guys and girls, honestly, what do you think about this? I mean, guys maybe could tell better, but girls, please you do give an opinion too!

He really doesn't has much male friends. Just two guys, who are his long-time friends and doesn't see them much either. Altho it seems he is in good terms with them.
But somehow he really DOESN'T seems interested in interacting with men much. He says, he doesn't see a point. There is no gain from that. He sees point in interacting with women only.

When i ask him "don't you want to sometime hang out with bros and play something or drink a beer and have a man talk?"
He says: What for?

I am confused honestly. His reactions to such questions of mine are so pure, he is not acting up at all, so i feel like as if i am in the wrong. Does sexuality has anything to do with this? I mean, i am Bi, he is straight. Even though i feel like i rather siding a bit more with men, damn, i still have girl friends. And i do enjoy hanging out with them.
Is there something weird going on here? Or he just prefers and wants more and more female presence in his life?

I agree. there's not much gain from communicating with the same sex unless you need advice or connections to score a job. he's doing right by keeping it at 2 close friends or less. Anything more is a waste in my opinion. Sexuallty has nothing to do with this. I’ve always said that i no longer need friends because what can they do for me in the long run? Im not gonna marry them, sleep with them nor have kids with them (and yes this goes for men and women). So i may as well keep to myself or hang with acquaintances from time to time. I’ll commit to longterm relationships in terms of dating but see no point in committing to friendship these days. Thats was fun back in school but People also continued to disappoint when you showed too much care for them. So i rather care a bit less and keep temporary company from time to time. Its much healthier, little disappointment, and less risk of wasting time

After college, making friends no longer is a big deal, so once you turn 24+, you’ll understand his way of thinking more. And he should expect you not to be on the same page since thats a huge age gap. He sounds like he's ready to settle down and well i hope you are.

But its different with us girls, isn't? Or thats just till the end of our teen years? We polish our nails, we go shopping together we brush hairs, we comment boys and 'bitches'. We are much closer, we hug and even kiss each other sometime. We even hold hands, when we talk about something traumatic. When we feel like we are misunderstood, we reach out to a female friend, which might understand us.

In a fact, i don't know other life, without friends, especially without friends of the same gender!

Im not a girly girl. I hate polish and makeup. But i do love shopping. I have no interest in female friendships outside of when i used to be in school. Like i said, im fine with acquaintances because i like to come and go as i please. Plus girls are often devious and plotting. I dont have time to give that trust anymore. If i need advice or tips, i can get that without having to be their friend. At the end of the day, i only really care what i or the guy i date thinks anyways. And no im not a hugger. I wouldn't hug nor kiss a girl who isn't my mom. I’d only hug a boyfriend. I wouldn't hold anyones hand unless theyre my boyfriend. I dont even hug guy friends unless its maybe a quick side hug. And guys have given me better advice then girls. A guy would understand his own better so its best i get advice from a guy about whatever guy i like. When asking girls for advice, they often try to steal the guy you like. I enjoy life better without friends because its a waste to commit to a friendship that i may value more than they do. Like i said, acquaintances are more than enough vecause i can come and go as i please

Oh God, now i realise, he is right, that friendship is important to HAVE IN a relationship. Romantic and sexual, like our own. He once said: "If we are not ALSO friends, outside the sexual attraction and being fond of each other, what are we? What is left? Are we even someone you can count on? Someone to seek for an advice? Someone To discuss any topics out of sex and romance?"

Not sure how you got that out of what i said lol. I do think its best to build a friendship as the relationship progresses but i dont think friendship is necessary in order to start a relationship

I've dated guys who had no male friends, the reason they gave was because many guys are macho idiots and he could not stand macho guys.

I can kind of see that, some guys do get really weird when in a all male environment, for sports or other competitive situations.

Some people just get along better with the opposite sex than the same sex.

There is a thing called "schizoid" personality disorder. I have a kind of schizoid tendencies and maybe I can relate to his reasoning. I have been pretty much a loner too (+ social anxiety as the cherry on top)
