My theory is that men have this ability to obtain a lot of information about a girl in a window of milliseconds. And it's usually in everyday moments. The way she did her hair, her choice of earrings, makeup (or lack thereof), the way she carries herself when talking or listening to a friend, her whole body language, what she chose to wear, etc...

We usually enter a room, see you for a tenth of a second and know "Yup. That. Want." And we probably couldn't tell you why except "She's so pretty/hot/beutiful." 'cause we're too dumb to know how clever we can be. :D

It's probably not just about the way you happen to look, but also how you choose to look. And how you carry yourself. And all kinds of small details only his subconscious knows about.
