Usually when a girl calls a guy "bro" it insinuates that she has no interest in being anything more than friends.

If a guy gets offended by this then his feelings could be hurt due to rejection even if that's not what you intended by calling them "bro".

  🤣 I'm jk. It could be because they don't want to be put in the friend zone due to sexually liking you? Or maybe they don't wanna put you in the friend zone. Like they see you as lower than them so they wouldn't want you to call them that as if you're close? Happened to me before.
