How can I flirt with a guy I like at a work event?

So I really like this guy I work with and over the last year I have developed feelings for him.

Sometimes I think he’s into me too because he can be flirty at times but most of the time we are just friendly, although he does message me sometimes.

The last time we went out was our works Christmas party. He was drunk and told me he liked me and we sat together all night talking. So I’m needing some tips on how I can be more flirty with him to see if he’s actually interested or not.

I think you’re going to have to be very blunt.
It’s more forgiving if a woman starts a relationship at work. Men have to be very cautious crossing that line with recent years at least at the places I’ve worked. Don’t be surprised if he wants to but is very reserved because of how what he thinks is appropriate. Personally I make it a point to mentor men not to date from places they frequently go to; bars, gyms , work, etc. or if they do have a exit plan if it doesn’t workout.
Most of the men out there not being accused of inappropriate behavior is because they have healthy boundaries. Likelihood that he’s one of those good men seems high based on your description.

Thanks! He has said some things to me in the past which caught me off guard but he never made me feel uncomfortable but now he is acting more reserved and I worry it’s because he thought I wasn’t interested. But I was and still am…just tricky when it’s at work like you say so I was unsure how to act.
