Is there such a thing as a reformed player? And if so, how can you tell if he's truly "reformed?"

Once a guy is a player, is he always a player? Or is there the possibility that he has been reformed? And if so, how can you be sure that he is really in it for the "right reasons?"

There is this guy who has been pursuing me, and who (despite myself) I find that I'm attracted to. I know that he has a history of being a player though. However, he seems to treat me with respect and keeps setting up times to hang out even though I have refused to even kiss him so far. I know that only time will tell whether he is legitimately "reformed" or if it is all a part of his game, but I'm wondering if it is even worth waiting around. I've been hurt pretty badly in the past and don't think I could deal with a repeat of that right now, and I want to be very cautious about this guy. Are there any ways to tell if he means what he says? Or should I not even waste my time?

i've met a lot of players who claim that they are reformed, who give off the vibe that they truly ARE reformed, and I think they partly believe that they are indeed reformed, but at the end of the day, they cannot give up the game. so be careful, think twice before you do anything with this guy.

one of my close friends went out with a reformed player, and all of us were completely charmed by him. deep down, I believe he was a good guy, he just needed the thrill of the chase to be happy :/

i don't think there's any sure-fire way of telling if he's being sincere or not...

I know this answer is way late, so I hope everything worked out for the best,

but I believe players can change. I used to be a not so good person and one day I met someone who changed me slowly. I think everyone deserves a second chance. If he breaks your heart, at least you'll say you tried because would you rather look back and regret doing something or letting the chance pass you by? Live life to the fullest, take every chance. There is such a thing! LMAO. And he changes when he finds the right girl, I've seen it in my brothers, in my friends and in my friends boyfriends. It is a slow change, doesn't happen over night. And it's very rare but point is it does happen.

idk if I totally agree. I've seen too many girls get caught up in the idea of "i can be the one to change him" but in my experience, you can't change anyone. only they can change themselves.
