How do I start a conversation with an antisocial boy?

First I need to say that this is my first time asking anyone about this and English is not my first language. So there is this one boy in my school, he`s a year younger then me but I kinda like him. The problem is that he`s anti-social to some degree. He doesn`t have any social media, he doesn`t talk to anyone in the class or anywhere else, he sets alone and is just a loner in general. Usually I`m a little shy but I want to talk to him so does anyone have any advice?

You should do what you think is best for you. Try new things but don't stress out too much.

Just approach him on random topic. Or if you know that he is interested in something particular initiate a conversation in that.
