Why did my friend randomly call me hot when I explained something about work?

So I have this supervisor at my job that’s an asshole. While my male co-worker was on his break, the supervisor had sat some heavy equipment on my table that usually my co-worker needs to use. It’s too heavy for me to lift so I decided to just let it be and work on the other side (his table) until he returned. I also could’ve asked my friend or someone else to move it, but I didn’t wanna interrupt their job or bother them.

So my friend came by and asked if I was alright and I explained everything to him. I also told him that I wasn’t gonna work on that side and that the mf think he’s slick (referring to the supervisor)

Then my friend smiled and said “That’s hot” in a low voice.

Did he find it hot that I wasn’t going to take any shit from the guy, or possibly how I said it? Cause I was a little annoyed but tried being calm about it.
