Does he like me despite him admitting he became an unhealthy person?

He says I’m a good person he did things ( mixed signals ) cause he wanted to he hung out cause he wanted to he also kissed me cause he wanted to.
but after admitting all that said but he became a very unhealthy person after that.

So does he even like me despite him being unhealthy ( alcohol exc )?

and can you like someone even if you are an alcholic I know some people say no like the bottle is your choice… but is it possible?
