My friend is really pretty and talks to a ton of guys but whenever they’re around they’re mean to me. Why can I do to stop them from hating me?

(sorry in advance for the run-ons I just wanted to get this off my chest and ask for advice)
I consider myself to be fairly attractive but I’m friend is stunning and very extroverted. I’ve been told I can be a little intimidating but I’m definitely nice to all the guys to ever try to talk to me (none) because I get so little attention but the guys my friend hangs out with are incredibly mean. I’m always with her and whenever they talk to her they completely ignore me and if I ever try to join in they’ll actively insult me aggressively and question why I even tried to join in (directly.) I don’t remember ever doing anything to them. What can I do to have them stop hating me? It’s honestly messing up my self esteem (which was never an issue before) but I feel some type of way knowing everyone loves her so much and I’m always just seen as send place or nonexistent completely.

I don't know why they'd act that way (unless your friend isn't really your friend, or they only hang around her because she's so attractive, and not because they actually like her?)? But personally I would just stop hanging around her/them. They aren't likely to change (because it's nothing you're doing wrong, just them) so I'd tell your friend you're sorry, but you are only going to spend time with her if it's the two of you. She might say/think "you're making me choose", but you're not, all you're saying is if she wants to hang around them, fine, but you won't be around in those times she does. She can see you other times when they aren't around.

We’ve been best friend for 5+ years wouldn't it be wrong to drop her because guys like her more? I don’t what her to think I’m jealous I just hate being treated like dirt by all the guys that pine after her.

Exactly, and that's my point. You aren't "dropping her" or ending the friendship, all you're saying to her is that if/when she hangs out with them, you don't want to be there. So when you are hanging out with her, it's just the two of you, or other people that like you... that's all.

That girl isn't your friend. Them being mean to you is the best thing. You want to friends with people like that? If you were in your friends shoes and they treated her like that would you still want to be those guys friends?

You're viewing them all wrong. They are not the friends you want. I hope that you come to see that. You're calling your friend beautiful but look at her friends and what she allows them to do to you. She is still friends with them... What does that say about her on the inside? Doesn't that matter to you? And what does that say about you that you are still there?

If you want to look skinny hangout with fat people & if you want to look pretty hangout with ugly people. As for you if guys are mean to you when you hangout with your pretty friend maybe you should hangout with someone new & see what happens.
