Why are all my guy friends so mean to me?

im the only girl ina group of about 9 guys i know it sounds weird already, but we have been friends since grade 5 because i was one of two of the only girls in the class. Anyways, I've been friends with them and play video games with them every weekend, but they always insult me. calling me ugly or just saying mean stuff to me. they still invite me to parties and all, but i feel like they dont really wanna be my friend they just want to kick me out instead. i think this cuz they always insult me. some of them say theiur joking but I don't know. Recently, i sent a picture of me in cultural clothing and one of them said "my friend said ur mad ugly" and i just didn't know what to say. like its not even funny anymore. it makjes me wanna cry everytime i think about it.

I've known some guys that used do this to me and I always questioned myself, then i'd later find out, they liked me a lot. I think that guys do this to try to hide the fact that they like you.

Another possibility is that they truly see u as a good friend. Guys often call each other all types of names even though it's not all true. If they say they are" just joking" they want you to know that they really don't mean it. It's just a weird way guys communicate with each other. You should be honest with them. They might make another joke out of it cause guys are just like that, but there's a high chance they will stop if they know it really hurts you.

thats crazy cuz rn i just joined their game (on steam) and they all told me to leave and I kept on re-joining. they kept swearing at me calling me things. I asked them to give me one good reason to leave and they kept on telling me im mad annoying blah blah blah. Like i don't even think this is a joke. Fr make me wanna cry

Maybe you should just leave and ghost them for a bit and see what happens. If they contact you, then they truly care and they were joking
