He blocked me by saying we don’t have future I only asked for friendship?

So we both were good friends on fb and suddenly he blocked me one day by saying we don’t have a future ahead. I tried to stop him but he continued saying its good for our future. He said continuous chatting will make our future hard. I asked his bestie for helped but he told him also to stop talking to me and “ she will understand what i did is good for future”. I just asked for friendship nothing else but still he blocked me.

Maybe he started to catch feelings for you, or maybe there was another girl that came into the picture and he knew she would be jealous
