He ended it as he didn't know when he’d be ready, + it wasn’t fair to make me hold on. Ultimately I understood/respected that. He blocked me on all platforms except 1- We’d agreed to do this if we went our separate ways, so I was hurt but not surprised/angry.
I later asked if we could be friends, no ulterior motive. Id been upset, yeah, but no one was ‘wronged’, we were just at different places.
He said we could try, then said we’d end up in the same place and it would always be in the back of his mind. He was cold af here and it was more hurtful than the actual thing, so I told him being rude was unnecessary and left it
Its been a few months, I was considering messaging for closure.
Then a mutual friend posted a picture of us, and I saw that he’d liked it. As Id been blocked, I realised he’d unblocked me on 1 account. My account has always been private, so he’d know he couldn’t see my posts. I ignored it.
Weeks later when scrolling in my messages I saw the name changed on his other account, meaning he’d unblocked me on this account too. I was confused as there's no reason to do this having seen Im on private. I clicked out of curiosity. This account was public and-
Id bought him a gift for his sport and he’d said he’d wear them to his first comp for luck.
His last post showed he’d won his first competition, and was wearing the gift in one photo.
I already wanted to message once he’d calmed down and moved on enough to be able to speak to me without being defensive, but now I feel like I can't because I don’t know what it means. It doesn’t change what I want, but I don’t want to be misread. I get that the gift he’d probably just use because he had it so why not, but I don’t understand unblocking me on the second after knowing he couldn’t see my account the first time?
