I’m supposed to meet a guy soon. He suggested nice trendy cafe/ restaurant place. Does that show that he really likes me and wants to impress me?

I thought we are going to simple cafe place. I was suprised that he suggested that place when I saw pics of the place.

by the way he said that he also chose the place because of it’s location (it’s closer to me). He wanted to pick a place which is closer to me and not in downtown. I had no problem going to downtown too since I often spend time there.
