Why won’t he talk on the phone?

We have been in contact now for two years. I have video called him, texted him, spoken on phone. But getting him to talk on the phone is pot luck. He rarely will answer my call, and will ignore the call and respond in text instead.

Is this an indicator of an uninterested guy or a terrible caller?

Probably doesn't like talking on the phone. Neither do I. Nothing personal and doesn't matter who it is, I just don't like it and prefer texting. I think lots of guys are like this.

If it happens often, then he’s uninterested in you. If it happens rarely, then maybe he’s busy in some other thing.

It’s often. He will at a push answer it. But I he has nothing to say I lead the convo. He will answer a text frequently

If he responds on texts, it means he interested in you but he’s uncomfortable in calls.

Ok, he was a terrible texted for a long time too. Gave nothing. Now he’s improved on text but not speaking on phone. Will a guy text just to keep you around? Or must he have some interest?
