+1 yI want someone who doesn’t have to fit into a box or play an unwilling part in a political agenda. You don’t have to conquer the world or fight your way out of relationships to be successful as a woman. I argue with enough assholes outside the house I don’t need that when I come home too. The way I see it, a woman being meek and mild is conditional upon the man not taking advantage of or abusing her choice to live like that. This requires trust in another human being that is not easy to give in the modern world, but that is why you must be more selective about who you enter into relationships with. Men rise to the level of women’s expectations, no farther. We can all get along in traditional roles so long as respect and continuation is earned. If the man abuses their traditional position they no longer deserve it, or the label of traditional man. Leadership positions require an attitude of service to the team, whether that is a team of two or a team of employees. I understand the concept of masculinity is very different in Australia from how it is viewed in many other places, and that on the whole it is, dare I say, toxic. But that is not true everywhere. I would go so far as to say that the number of broken boys looking for a replacement mother figure seems to be higher there than in the US, but that we will be reaching parity once more blows are dealt here to the viability of strong nuclear families from various government policies and historically left leaning social or political movements. The AUS government seems to be interested in steps to cause and maintain a gender war to an even greater degree than the US government is, which is considerable. There is no legitimate reason why men and women have to be in conflict in a complimentary two parent species. If we would both stop accepting and living out the wishes of external imposters of conflict that would be a great day fir humanity, but sadly I am not optimistic if current trends continue.

No guy wants a girl that's a headache. But guys in general do like girls that are exciting.
No guy wants a girl that is boring. But guys in general do want their woman to be a supportive woman that doesn't fight with him on everything.
Most guys want a balance between exciting, but not a headache, and supportive but not boring.
But many guys if they HAVE TO choose, would preferentially choose a more boring woman that's just a good partner for him rather than a woman who argues over nothing and let's him be the leader he is supposed to be.
For me, I like girls who are exciting but just short of being a problem lol. Like she needs to have enough sense and good values to not put herself in certain situations that could cause problems for us. A girl that's repping you when you're not around
Basically taking all that passion and directing it into the relationship lol00 Reply
+1 yRealistically, it depends on the guy.
Before I begin, my definition of a fiery woman is someone who reckless, needs to be right and difficult; like a dictatorship. From observation, fiery women are more of a novelty; it's nice for the short term thrill and excitement, but not long-term material if a guy desires peace later on in life. Also, I wouldn't say most men want a submissive woman, but more assertive, confident and emotionally available.10 Reply

+1 yI just don't like butting heads with a woman... especially if I'm in the right and she's trying to force the wrong. Strong-willed and fiery is fine and can actually be backed up if she's in the right. But come on, if she's trying to justify texting her ex or 'accidentally' making out with her gay guy friend... something is fucked up. ... and it probably isn't you disagreeing with that bullshit even though she gets hot-headed about it all.
Now if you as the dude are in the wrong... you got it coming bro. Take it or back out.
With all that said, a meek woman can get pretty annoying. She'll 'let' things happen that shouldn't and I don't care if it's outside forces or yourself, that's not healthy for yourself or her in the long run. Yeah it might avoid immediate arguments, but it's not healthy for the long run.00 ReplyWe like the fire, just not when it's directed at us all the time. I have found that a lot of these "feisty" women are like that ALL THE TIME. They can't turn it off, they always have something to argue about, they always have an opinion, and it's always right.
Usually not worth the trouble. I would much rather have a woman that is easy to get along with, doesn't fight me on every decision we make, etc. Peace essentially. A lot of guys don't realize this until they get older though.
So young guys will fall for it, but it won't last unless she chills out.00 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yA little of both to be honest. I love a woman who has both a soft side and a fiery side. I mean I don't mean a woman who is mean to me or anything. But I love a woman who stands up for herself and others an is strong but lets her guard down around me and is soft and loving towards me.
I love a woman who knows when to speak and can use her voice and when to shut up (the same goes for me as well though I am not perfect sometimes I don't speak when I should and say something when I should keep my mouth shut)
Again a woman who is BOTH. Is just perfect to me.00 Reply
+1 yI THINK I like a girl who knows what she wants, when she wants it and how to get it but because that's usually associated with something called a "diva", I'm apparently not supposed to like that sort of thing, according to WWE, NOW, and lots of women in the world.
What is so wrong with a woman knowing what she wants, when she wants it and how to get it. Just because it's associated with the term diva, doesn't mean it has to be a bad thing
It's like republicans and socialism. Just because Stalin was a commy, doesn't mean SOCIALISM will be.00 ReplyIt depends. The last self proclaimed 'strongwilled woman' I have seen got fired up from a misunderstanding or mistake and took the time to completely shoot her friend down. She was fierce but for all the wrong reasons.
I either want a strongwilled woman who is mature and level headed or as you say, mellow00 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yMeek is strong.
enduring injury with patience and without resentment.
Moses was by far the meekest man in all the earth.
The meek will inherit the earth.
So to stand for something does not require fire and strong will. It can be done calmly , respectfully, and considerately and without grudge.
I often the need to real myself back in, and find better results. I would like someone who tempers me more that way then fire.00 ReplyIn my experience strong headed people are ignorant and stupid people, regardless of gender. They are like that because they cannot be otherwise. So if I have to choose between an ignorant and stupid person and a person who is not, I choose the one who is not.
00 Reply861 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I prefer biblical meek. IE. πραεῖς (praus) which means strong but knowing when to apply one's strength. I want a woman like my girlfriend, one who's not a pushover, but also not abusive.
But if I have to chose, I rather have a woman which I have to build up than one which I have to tear down. I already tear myself down enough to have to tear my love down as well.00 ReplyThe meeker an submissive the better for her an me because I do not need a Man but I do want a Woman an strong headed Women seem to bosses for my taste they are plan an simple just a turn off they make me feel like I'm in a relationship with a Man not a Woman.

00 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Sassy and fiery is usually code for bad tempered in my experience.
Strong willed is usually code for girl who wants it her way at a cost to guy.
I would prefer a girl that is liveable with.00 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI think the answer depends on the guy and his personality.
The problem with a lot of women today is that they are attracted to confident, dominant, masculine guys, but then they expect a guy to treat their girlfriends and wives as if they are not strong, dominant and masculine.
If a woman wants a confident and dominant man but doesn't want him to be dominant in their relationship, she's being unfair to him and setting the relationships up for failure.00 Reply- 1.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic.

+1 yA strong willed, fiery woman is only a blessing if she has some brains and sense to go with it. If she doesn't, she's a pain in the ass shrew, so I'd rather have a meek girl in that case.

Strong headed for important things and meek for non-important things.
