Guy's Behavior

Does he really like me Or just wants to get physical?

I met this guy on tinder who's six years elder to me.. We used to talk sometimes, but rarely.. Then we finally met after one year, just to mention, he always flirted with me on text, even before meeting.. He even said that he's falling for me (he said that when we didn't even meet face to face for once).. I expressed him how emotional I am and I get attached too easily and I asked him to be honest and let me know if he's just looking for a casual relationship because I was looking for a serious relationship.. He said that he's definitely not looking for anything casual from me.. We finally met, after I came back, he said how he wanted to hug me, kiss me and he even said that he wouldn't be able to keep himself in check when he'll be next to me. . After 2 days, he said that he wanted to eat me up, to which I got a little uncomfortable as it was the very first date of my life and I am a virgin, I have never had any experience.. I told him I felt a little uncomfortable, he said sorry but later started ignoring me.. I asked him the reason why he was ignoring me, to which he replied that he feels there's a huge void between us and I am too shy and he's too considerate to tell each other what we wish to say and do in a moment where we are together.. He even said that the feeling is nice but it evangelize nothing.. He said that it would be in our best interest to not take things forward.. I felt heartbroken.. He was the one who said that he was falling for me and now he wanted to end things.. Why did he do this?
