I’m in high school and I have a guy friend who I like (have a crush on). I just recently confirmed it a couple days ago.
It was a pool party where it started. I mean I’d already initiated flirty touches before (leaning in when I laugh, touching his arm, shoulders, asking to compare hand sizes all the time,
laughing at every silly thing he says, sitting across from him on a table…etc.)
I had a lot of fun with him and my friends. Pissing him off by poking his sides and back, getting chased by pool noodles and floaties.
After the pool when we went to sit down inside, he suddenly sat next to me. We were already laughing and play fighting when we walked in and he sat close. Thigh to thigh basically. He didn’t seem bothered by the touch. Which was funny because he freaked out when I tried to intertwined our fingers together a week ago.
He didn’t mind when I leaned onto his shoulder to laugh, and after he asked to stay the night with his mom and my friend’s parents, my friend came to me and told me that her mom though we were dating (me and my crush) because we were so close.
That really got me thinking. Did we really look like a couple?
The night continued. More sitting next to each other in the jacuzzi, allowing our feet and legs graze each other with occasional accidental butt grazes with his feet. (I didn’t mind this, his legs are long)
He really opened up (about his past, family) and we played fight some more, and I decided to be daring and stood close behind him as he watched on the laptop, earning a few intimate nudges from his arm into my belly in response. We made of bunch of dirty jokes like we usually do between each other only.
We binged watch meme videos and every time something funny would happen he would look to me for my reaction instead of his friend that sat between us.
The next day, he offered to help me make breakfast, and then we said our goodbyes when we departed.
Does he like me? Or am I just trying to lie to myself?

To add, during the morning we had breakfast. We sat on the couches with our friends to watch some Star Wars. He sat next to me voluntarily and let me lean my body against him (ish) and press my feet into his sides.
