My ex accusing me of texting females he's friends with on socials?

This isn't the first time he text me this through the break up about this topic and geniuenly i dont know what he's talking about. I've explained to him i dont know any girls he's friends with on socials and he has me blocked since we broke up so how can i see anything. I just ignored him last night when he text me an hour later to say sorry for being mean that his head is allover the place lately. To then today he text me saying look sorry for the way things ended between us. That he's trying to move on in life and he doesn't want his past with me getting in the way of this. I also ignored this message but not gunna lie it stung a lot but i just dont know why he's telling me all this as he's made it clear and i told him he can have all the girls in the world now just to leave me alone. He first told me he broke up because he was focusing on himself so if thats so why am i being involved still. Its like he wants to hurt me and I don't know why. Can anyone give me some understanding here
