Why would he cry but won't talk to me?

My ex and I broke up about a month ago. Since then I haven't seen or talked to him giving him space but last night there was a concert I really wanted to go to so I went knowing I might see him. I asked him if we could talk and he said later but we never did. But later I found out from mutual friends that he was crying after seeing me yesterday. I don't understand why he wouldn't speak to me and now I'm trying to decide if I should box up all his things and send them back to him

Too many memories that come up all at once when he saw you.

You don't tell us who broke up and why the relation was broken. He is probably an emotional person and contacting you or seeing you does bring those memories he was fond of.

It is never a good idea to try to contact those that were in your life earlier because you see what is happening to your ex boyfriend.

Your best and only solution is to move ahead and yes, box up all his belongings and send them back. Don't ask him to pick them up because it is just going to hurt him even more.

Time to draw a line on this failed relation and not to attempt to contact each other again. That is how healing works best.

The dilemma I have advising you here is:-

Is he crying because he's a wuss that doesn't know how to accept you and he broke up, OR has something happened that he just can't talk to you about which might of contributed to your break up..

The first one yes obviously send them back, but if he has genuine valid reasons for this, then perhaps he deserves to at least a chance to explain when he's able to.
