Why doesn't he ever let me talk?

So I just got off the phone (I didn't get off my phone died but still) with my boyfriend, and we were "talking" about our relationship trying to figure out what's going on. We were supposed to talk about my problems that I'm going through right now with my life, but I just don't like talking to him about that stuff cause he turns it around to make it about him and let me tell you he talks forever about himself. Anyways, he finally let me talk and asked me what was going on with us and so I told him. I told him that I think we just need to sit down in person and talk about this, then he goes off saying how I never wanna see him and he is always trying to see me but I don't let him. I did wanna see him its just that I was sick for like 2 weeks so I didn't even wanna see anyone at all or talk to anyone for that matter. Yet he seems to think that I don't want to see him, I thought he was going to come today but I guess he thought I said no when I said yes. I got the whole house to myself this week (just till Friday but still) and I don't like staying in the house alone at night. So he tells me that I never answered him so he didn't come. So we had to talk about it over the phone but he never ever lets me talk he doesn't even talk about us he just talks about himself, how his family doesn't like him or tells me the same story that I've heard like 10x before. Don't get me wrong I care about him its just he makes everything about himself, and when I try to tell him something he cuts me off or makes it seem that its my fault bad stuff happens to me. Anyways my question is how do I make him stop doing this stuff if I already told him that its hard for me to talk to him about anything when he does these things?

ok so after 2 mos of turmoil I finally went wit my feelin and I broke up wit him. I jus cudnt take it nemore and I guess you cud say it was the last straw that broke the camels back.

There isn't anything you can do to make him less self centered. It's something he's going to have to realize himself. You leaving him could be be a big indicator that he isn't the center of the relationship - but I doubt it because he will probably make it out to be all your fault.

It sucks when the only answer is leave him, but there isn't any magic spell you can invoke to make your man listen. He is what he is - all you can do is accept it or leave it. My suggestion of course would be leave - but that's easy for me to say because it isn't my heart.

He needs to grow up. He's still a child in that he's so selfish. Frankly, you can either put up with him, or tell him it just won't work out because it sounds like you two are having a lot of problems.
