Am I too sensitive or is my boyfriend being unreasonable?

Every morning when my alarm goes off, it sparks a fight. I need the alarm to get up for work, and he doesn't have to get up at that time (6-7am). He starts to moan about everything, that I walk to loud, that I make coffee too loud.
Yesterday I had a horrible day cause I think I am getting fired today. All I wanted this morning is for him to be on my side before I go to work. But he was once again such an ass with me. I needed him to be there for me.

He needs to grow up personally.

we often have relationships with people that work different hours, go out with friends and come back at say midnight and the other is in bed.

it’s about being grown up enough to sit down and talk about it.

this is why living together is really important at times, you soon find out if you are compatible or if the other has some fucking annoying habits, is untidy, poor hygiene etc.

sit down and talk about it, at the moment it’s you getting up first, in a few months it might be him…

You are not being too sensitive. He's acting childish. An adult realizes that people need an alarm to awaken them. His comments about you being noisy are just more of his being childish.
For a previous job, I got up at five o'clock in the morning. My SO never complained. She just rolled over and went back to sleep if she happened to awaken.

It definitely sounds like your boyfriend is being mean about your alarm, because it’s not like you have it on for fun and you need it for work, so it wouldn’t hurt for him to be a little understanding. Maybe you two should talk about finding a middle ground. For instance, you could try a softer alarm if you don’t use one already. Other options are a fitness tracker (like a Fitbit) which vibrates on your wrist to wake you up. He could also consider earplugs, or a sound pillow.

You could possibly be a bit quieter when doing things in the morning if it bothers his sleep. He needs to complain less about your alarm cause you need it to wake up.
Less complaining and fighting and more talking and figuring things out.

Whaaat… not always true. I mean if you can’t live together then why be together? They need to learn how to communicate and solve problems without fighting or raising voices.
in my opinion if I can’t live with someone and it potentially ends the relationship then clearly we’re not meant to be.
Can’t live your whole life not moving in together.
